Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Bespoke equipment used in process equipment around the world, this is a chance to take a lead role in bringing tailored customer requirements to life and leading projects from start to finish. You’ll be working with very high-spec hardware, and each one is custom-made per order. As part of a multi-discipline team, and with everything manufactured in house you can see your designs right through to the end-product.

Here you’ll be using SolidWorks, though experience of any 3D CAD package is fine, and you’ll be creating 3D models, detail components drawings as well as assembly drawings.

The Candidate: SNR Mechanical Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will be a proactive person who looks for solutions to problems, and will have most of the following skills and experience:

5+ years’ experience in mechanical design in a role such as Design Engineer, CAD Engineer, Mechanical Engineer
Chemical engineering or pharmaceutical processing experience would be an advantage
A liquid movement or processing background
Experience using SolidWorks, Inventor, Solid Edge, Creo or a similar package.
Ability to think of your feet.
Experience with fluid dynamics or designing pressure vessels.
Confident in voicing your opinions and ideas, both within the team and to other departments
